Israel is hell-bent on genocide and President Biden is still trying to have it both ways, leaking criticism of Netanyahu while continuing to send bombs and block a ceasefire.
Hundreds of thousands of lives, as well as Biden’s re-election, hang in the balance. We need to continue the pressure on the president not to criticize, but to act, now.
In California, some great news! There are seven bills in the legislature that will begin to undo the damage Gavin Newsom’s California Public Utilities Commission has done to the growth of rooftop solar. You can sign on to support all of them.

DEMAND A CEASEFIRE &
RESTORE FUNDING TO UNRWA
When the UN released its finding that Israel is plausibly committing genocide in Gaza, Israel’s response was to allege that 12 of the 33,000 workers for the United Nations Relief Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) had taken part in the October 7th attacks.
There has been no verification of that allegation (and US Intelligence gave it “low confidence”), but President Biden’s response was to withdraw U.S. funding for UNRWA. With half a million Gazans facing starvation, this was a disastrous decision and a clear case of collective punishment, a war crime.
Biden must reverse his position, restore funding, and call for a ceasefire so that food, water, and medicine may reach the Palestinians in Gaza.

Texas governor Greg Abbott is in open rebellion of both the federal government and the Supreme Court, defying both by controlling a section of the border with his own troops and killing asylum seekers in the process. This is piecemeal secession and it must not stand. It’s time to put down the rebellion.
